Through work experience at the local Public Defender's Office, we identified unmet needs in the way cases are built by attorneys, and a vast opportunity for leveraging the capabilities of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing the case discovery process. We firmly believe that by simultaneously improving workflow efficiency and investigative accuracy, law offices can better serve more clients. As a social impact venture based in Baltimore, we advocate for a fair defense for all.
Our Product
CounselAI is an AI-powered platform for attorneys to better scrutinize evidence and build their cases. With a fast, intelligent, and frictionless design, CounselAI creates a "smart" case folder that helps attorneys analyze voluminous case discovery. We use natural language processing (NLP) software to process complex case files, classify documents into their relevant categories, and summarize critical case facts, all while protecting attorney-client privilege. We target transparent and translative strategies to minimize legal liability for law firms.
